We went to the Capital Museum of Beijing. It is in a brand new building that is architecturally beautiful. The museum holds many Chinese treasures such as pottery, silks, antiquities, and some of the clothes and furniture of ancient China. Yihui didn’t seem all that interested but Zoe wanted to know all about the history of China. We stayed about 2 hours and then realized that was about the limit for young children.
We went over to the Wanfugjing mall for lunch and decided to see a movie. We saw Night at the Museum 2 which was in English with Chinese subtitles. The girls enjoyed it. The theater was so modern and comfortable.
That was about it for the day.
